JOHN JOHN AND CHRISTOPHER AT THE CABIN

Grandma and Grandpa Alston took the kids up to the cabin (April 2010). Christopher loved digging in the snow and staying up as late as he wanted! :)
When the kids got back they came to a big easter activity with Southern estates ward. They had fun racing, petting all the animals in the petting zoo, riding horses, eating steak and doing an egg toss. Rachael loved riding this train and hid in the bottom every time it stopped so people couldn't see her so she didn't have to skip a turn. Smart girl!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING 2009!

Making gingerbread houses with the Alston's is always so much fun! Ours was the house of love. We even had two goats kissing!

Rob and Rebecca came down from Idaho and brought their beautiful little girl Kaitlyn for everyone to see!

Here's Rachael with Gracie.

I think Kaitlyn is a hit with all of her cousins! Probably a little too much love. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS!

April 1st was Chris's 30th birthday. He got to deliver his goats babies on his birthday and celebrate with the family on Easter the joy of new life!

Mom Alston made yummy strawberry cake for Chris's birthday! Sugar free! YUM!

Here is a picture of the baby goats. They had the whitest fur and blue eyes. The kids love feeding them bottles, holding and watching them romp around the yard. The neatest thing is that the baby goats were born around Easter time, when we celebrate the resurrection and new life of Christ! We know he lives and will give us life!

APRIL 2010

The kids had a great time at Easter at Grandma's house. Even Jonathan got into finding the easter eggs. He just liked opening the eggs. He didn't care what was inside!

The kids got some cute outfits from Grandma Klein for Easter. Here they are in their outfits. This is Christopher, now 5. He just finished playing baseball and pre-school and is now ready to swim and play outside, his favorite thing to do. He loves reading books and loves to hear story after story of the scriptures. He is a big helper around the house.

Rachael is our bright shining star and will be 4 in July. She is constantly making up a song and fillings our lives with her happy spirit and love. She loves riding her bike, drawing, singing, and doing puzzles.

This is Jonathan, 20 months. He is starting to talk and some of the first words he said were "ow" and "Amen!" He is our miracle boy! With having been pecked by a rooster, being hit by the back of a metal trailer in the head and come out with just a bruised head, having had a scorpion on his shoulder and it not sting him and having been sick for 3 months with congestion from allergies he is our miracle boy and has been happy through it all. He is a great example to all of us! We love him and are thankful he is such an obedient boy. He is the first to fold his arms when we say it is time to give a prayer.

My beautiful children! What treasures!
