Angie and Doug and their new baby Avery

Here is Angie and my mom at the baby blessing of Avery. Just after this, Angie and Doug moved to Las Vegas.

He sure is a cute little guy. Welcome Avery Linden to our Family.

Before Angie had her baby Doug surprised her by flying her down to Arizona for a baby shower. All my sisters came in too. It was fun to have everyone there. Here are all my sisters from left to right...Lisa, Angie, Shawna, Tamara, mom, and me!

More pictures at the zoo with Grandma Klein

Jonathan loves his grandma Klein. He knows she loves him and when we go near her house he says "Grandma!"

Jonathan tried to climb the spider web like his brother and sister, but just had to settle for climbing through tunnels instead. He had fun with mom chasing him through.

Here is Jonathan trying to climb the spider web like his brother and sister, but to no avail! You gotta get a little bigger buddy! :)

Looks like he still had fun anyways! :) Thanks Grandma Klein!

Going to the zoo with Grandma Klein

Here are the kids sitting on a fake elephant.

Grandma sure loves spoiling her grandkids and they love it too. Here are Christopher and Rachael with her on the Merry go round. Usually she runs around the Merry -go-round saying "You get back here!" and the kids laugh and think it is so fun to get away from her.

This time at the zoo the kids loved climbing on a spider web.

We also found this cool cactus you could slip down. Way cool.

Hiking at the bird reparium

It was fun to take my parents to the bird reparium. It is always so peaceful there and my dad loved seeing the hundreds of geese that were there.

Here we are on the way there.

CHRISTMAS DAY--2009

Mom being the angel. One of the best things this Christmas was providing Christmas or a doll house for a little girl in our spanish ward. The Sunday afterward the mom came to me in Relief Society and just cried and hugged me. That was one of the most rewarding things that happened to me this Christmas. You have such a good feeling doing what Christ would do if he were here.
I am thankful for Christ and how he sends the holy ghost to touch our lives when we do what is right.

Here is Christopher playing with his new remote control car from grandma Alston.

Jonathan didn't care what he got for Christmas. He was just having fun with all the toys around the house! :)

Rachael, our little princess got lots of dress ups and shoes. She loves to change her clothes like 5 times a day! She is definitely a girl.

Christopher built a car with dad and we did a sand kit art Christmas day as well. It was fun to be at grandmas and have Daniel there too.

CHRISTMAS EVE 2009

Rachael was the cutest during the acting out of the nativity. This picture doesn't show it, but it was just so real to her and she was all smiles during the entire thing.

Rachael and the kids got new pajamas and a bear from grandma Klein. Here they are posing in their new PJ's. :)

FUN AT GRANDMA KLEIN'S --NOV. 2009

The kids loved making gingerbread houses with grandma Klein.

Here is Rachael's art work!

Here's grandma joining in the fun!

Rachael was so cute. Grandpa and grandma were helping her play the piano and she was all smiles.

Grandma Klein motivated the kids being more obedient by taking them to Chucky Cheese. Christopher loved deal or no deal and Rachael liked throwing the balls up the ramp and getting tickets.

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY CHRISTOPHER!!! Dec. 2009

Pizza and cupcakes are always a hit!
For Christopher's 5th birthday party we had a superhero party. They made a human spider web and tried to bounce a big spider off!

This one was I think the kids favorite. They had to demonstrate their superhero strength by braking Styrofoam.

Aren't these superheros so cute! They had to race and show their superhero speed.

We also played pass the kryptonight (like hot potatoe) and did a Mr. Freeze dance to start it off. The kids had to dance and then when the song turned off they froze. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTOPHER! WE LOVE YOU!

JOHN JOHN AND CHRISTOPHER AT THE CABIN

Grandma and Grandpa Alston took the kids up to the cabin (April 2010). Christopher loved digging in the snow and staying up as late as he wanted! :)
When the kids got back they came to a big easter activity with Southern estates ward. They had fun racing, petting all the animals in the petting zoo, riding horses, eating steak and doing an egg toss. Rachael loved riding this train and hid in the bottom every time it stopped so people couldn't see her so she didn't have to skip a turn. Smart girl!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING 2009!

Making gingerbread houses with the Alston's is always so much fun! Ours was the house of love. We even had two goats kissing!

Rob and Rebecca came down from Idaho and brought their beautiful little girl Kaitlyn for everyone to see!

Here's Rachael with Gracie.

I think Kaitlyn is a hit with all of her cousins! Probably a little too much love. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS!

April 1st was Chris's 30th birthday. He got to deliver his goats babies on his birthday and celebrate with the family on Easter the joy of new life!

Mom Alston made yummy strawberry cake for Chris's birthday! Sugar free! YUM!

Here is a picture of the baby goats. They had the whitest fur and blue eyes. The kids love feeding them bottles, holding and watching them romp around the yard. The neatest thing is that the baby goats were born around Easter time, when we celebrate the resurrection and new life of Christ! We know he lives and will give us life!

APRIL 2010

The kids had a great time at Easter at Grandma's house. Even Jonathan got into finding the easter eggs. He just liked opening the eggs. He didn't care what was inside!

The kids got some cute outfits from Grandma Klein for Easter. Here they are in their outfits. This is Christopher, now 5. He just finished playing baseball and pre-school and is now ready to swim and play outside, his favorite thing to do. He loves reading books and loves to hear story after story of the scriptures. He is a big helper around the house.

Rachael is our bright shining star and will be 4 in July. She is constantly making up a song and fillings our lives with her happy spirit and love. She loves riding her bike, drawing, singing, and doing puzzles.

This is Jonathan, 20 months. He is starting to talk and some of the first words he said were "ow" and "Amen!" He is our miracle boy! With having been pecked by a rooster, being hit by the back of a metal trailer in the head and come out with just a bruised head, having had a scorpion on his shoulder and it not sting him and having been sick for 3 months with congestion from allergies he is our miracle boy and has been happy through it all. He is a great example to all of us! We love him and are thankful he is such an obedient boy. He is the first to fold his arms when we say it is time to give a prayer.
