THE KLEIN REUNION
JULY 4TH—Started the reunion and we went up to the Alston's Cabin the 10-15th!!
We had a fun POOL PARTY WITH THE ANDERSON’S AND KLEINS FOR THE FOURTH…. So fun because afterwards the anderson’s brought Coke bottle and mint mentos and stuck the mentos in the coke and it would make it shoot off like fireworks. WE laughed thinking how we should NEVER put those two combinations in our stomachs…the kids had a blast with their cousins….chasing JORDAN…playing with sparklers.
11th—SAT. It is so fun to see everyone get excited about the cabin and how awesome it is. WE had a nice breakfast and mom watched the kids that day and painted their faces like Indians and had tents and everything. WE had a fire and roasted marshmellows. It was a good thing Rachael didn’t eat hers because she stuck it in the dirt, benches etc… J I flung it and it stuck on the trees. We also went to the fish hatchery that day and it was fun…the kids followed the painted fish on the ground to find the real fish and found a bunch of food on the ground to feed all the fish. Christopher thought it was so funny because he fed “bird poop” and dead spiders to the fish and they ate it! J The kids then hiked to the cars and they played around in this cold cold stream. I guess we had played in it at kids when I was little with Aunt Paulette. Rachael liked the purple butterfly’s . It was a great day. WE played Rummikub and Daniel was so funny. He had never played before and was the last to go out. But he actually won. Then we had enchiladas and then we played Settler’s It was so fun and I won! I like that even better. Then, I played Ticket to Ride and that was really fun too. What a dream day. I don’t want life to end!
13th--Monday
IT WAS A PERFECT DAY!!! This reunion has been so fun I don’t want it to end. WE got quads and Shawna and dad got stuck in the rain. Dad said it was more fun then fishing and horseback riding. The kids just wait on them for a ride. It was also Lisa’s birthday and Tamara put together a Luau. It was fun and I did pretty good on the Limbo. FHE lesson on Joseph Smith by Shawna and then we played Dad in his favorite game, Canasta….he won of course. Then I played John and Chris in Acquire. Life is so good. I don’t want it to change even though I know it will be for the best.
14th—Tuesday we took the kids on a treasure hunt, but they were all tired so they were being a little greedy. Daniel is so funny…he went on the zipline and mom didn’t want him to and he said, mother I am now old enough that you are not responsible for my transgressions. Took Rachael and Christopher on the zipline and then on the ATv’s over bumps Rachael loved it. Watched the bee movie and Batman movie which was really old. Robin said, Holy Bikini Batman! I thought that was hilarious. Read BUT IF NOT BY Elder simmons. Learned that faith is trusting in heavenly father even if he has power to do wonders, but if he does not, we still trust him.
15th—WE CLEANED UP…JOHN PUT A DISHWASHER IN THE CABIN…DAD WAS SO HAPPY. HE SAID WE COULD COME BACK. The Klein’s totally did more then asked… Dad was happy. Traveled back…exhausted. LEARNED PRIDE IS PUTTING YOUR WILL OVER GOD’S. I don’t want whatever to happen and am putting my will over the Lord’s .
